This is the most interesting blanket I've ever owned.
The fabric is cool to the touch. It's double layered. One side is made from fabric that's similar to mesh gym shorts. The other side is fabric similar to the smooth, moisture-, gym shirts that I wear. It's very soft material and gentle on my sensitive skin.
I will say this... the blaket is surprisingly heavy for the material it's made from. I like this part because I enjoy a good hug from a blanket with some weight to it. This offers me the weight of a traditional duvet or quilt set while keeping me cool and dry all through my summer nights.
The design of this blanket is really cute. The starfish and seahorses are adorable. I like this product. I am definitely a fan.
This blanket is unlike any other cooling blanket I’ve had before. It’s made up of 2 layers of fabric sewn together on the edge with the fabric layers being able to shift freely. This can create an odd effect when moving it around in that you can create a false edge if you grab it wrong. It can feel hot if bunched together under the body but all it takes is a quick shake out & blanket is super cool again.
The patterned side against your body is not as cooling as having the plain side against it. It rejects heat faster then my previous bamboo cooling blanket which was great. This is slippery & slides off easily when you move so if you’re trying to decide between a throw & a twin, I’d go for the twin to ensure you are always covered. This is a great blanket if you’re having night sweats.
